Professional Psychological Consulting for Kindergartens, Primary and Secondary Schools
In our center, individual, family, couple, child and adolescent psychotherapies, standard and projective test measurements and evaluations, seminar and training activities are carried out, and when necessary, patients are referred to psychiatrists and neurologists in polyclinics and hospitals, and the treatment of patients is followed up.
Our institution is recognized by the US Association for Play Therapy (APT).
The first 6 years of life are the period when development is fastest. In order to evaluate this period in a well-equipped manner, preschool education institutions are the greatest helpers of parents. One of the elements that families planning to send their children to daycare or kindergarten pay the most attention to when choosing a school is whether there is a psychologist/pedagogue in the school and the richness of the psychological service content provided.
In our institution, consultancy is provided to preschool education institutions affiliated with the Ministry of National Education, preschool education institutions affiliated with the Social Services Child Protection Agency (Nurseries, Child care centers, Children's clubs, Children's homes), preschool education institutions within universities, preschool education institutions affiliated with the Ministry of Labor, and preschool education institutions affiliated with foundations, associations or cooperatives.
When kindergartens make an agreement with a psychologist or guidance counselor, they either direct them on what to do or allow them to proceed with their own working style. The expert psychologist on the staff of the Psychotherapist Education and Counseling Center proceeds with a system whose framework is determined in detail by our institution. What will be done, when and how is clear.
Making an agreement with an institution, not with a psychologist; makes the institution owner feel safer and reduces the workload with shared responsibility. A corporate and professional attitude prevails. Since the institution's predetermined conditions are in question, not individual requests and preferences, the institution owner does not encounter any surprises.
Our staff, which has served in the fields of management/consultancy/training in the preschool education sector for many years, offers comprehensive and versatile services in kindergarten consultancy. Our psychologists are professionals who are aware that being academically equipped will not be enough, and who possess the necessary qualities in their personalities to communicate well with children. In addition, our expert psychologist staff consists of experienced psychotherapists who are qualified to see clients in a clinical setting.
Our free seminars are given to administrators, parents, teachers and students according to the needs of the institution. Below are the topics covered in our work:

The process of starting school is an important change for both parents and children. For the child, school is the first step taken outside the family. Until starting school, the child who performed all social activities with his family will now spend time with his teacher and friends without an adult from his family. While many children need support during the school adaptation period, families also want to be informed frequently. Our psychologists work both in groups and individually to reduce the emotional difficulties experienced by children by supporting their school adaptation process in the most accurate way. Supportive activities are carried out in areas such as establishing a healthy bond of trust with teachers, adapting to the school environment, and strengthening friendships.
Our psychologists fill out an observation follow-up form for each child and observe children taking into account their individual interests and needs. In order to follow the developmental processes of children and determine the areas where they have difficulty, developmental assessment tests are applied twice at the beginning of the year and towards the end of the year. For the 5-6 age group, the Metropolitan School Maturity Test is also performed to determine the child's level of readiness for primary school, and necessary support is provided in this regard to provide tips that facilitate primary school life.
A development report is prepared for each child based on the observations made, the tests and materials applied, and teacher feedback. Thus, parents see sufficient knowledge about their children's developmental areas in a written text.
The data obtained from observing children's participation in daily routines and the evaluations obtained after the tests are presented to families in individual interviews. Programs are prepared to support children's development in the areas they need. Early intervention methods are used for problems that may occur in the future. In addition, depending on the requests of families or the development of the child, extra interviews are held when needed and progress is made in cooperation with families on the development journey. Activity suggestions that can be done at home are offered to families.
Monthly bulletins containing articles on different topics are prepared for parents every month.
Free parent seminars are held twice a year on dates determined by the school's preference. Upon request, in-house training and seminars are also included in the psychologist's work program.
In order to improve children's visual and auditory perception skills, extend their attention span, acquire the necessary skills for their future school life, create the necessary foundation for reading and writing skills, and enrich creativity and imagination, Visual Perception-Auditory Perception and Attention Development Studies are carried out under the leadership of our psychologist in 30-minute lessons according to the program prepared by our institution.
Our psychologists plan seminars for parents on topics preferred by kindergartens and at the time and number determined by kindergartens, and carry out a comprehensive seminar program. Organizing and conducting training for teachers and employees.
